Sitters required for children aged 5 to 18 years with special needs in Birmingham and Solihull West Midands. Evenings, weekends and school holidays.

Essential criteria:

*Currently be employed within an organisation working with children with special needs, either paid or voluntary work

*Registered childminders, nannies or qualified nursery nurses with at least 6 months continuous experience of working with children with special needs.

*Students who will have undertaken as part of their studies relevant work placements in appropriate organisations working with children with special needs, with a view to gaining employment with this client group. For example; Registered Nurses Learning Disabilities, Registered Nurses Mental Health, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Speech and Language Therapists, Behavioural Psychologists, Play Therapists, Social Workers, Teachers, Medical Students.

*You must hold a valid first aid certificate or willing to undertake training to obtain one before you start work.

* An up to date enhanced CRB check will be required by all successful applicants.
